Twigire Muhinzi is an exciting extension model because it combines two different kinds of Farmer to Farmer Extension approaches: Farmer Promoters (FP) with demonstration plots and Farmer Field Schools (FFS) with experimental plots. More than 1,000,000 farmers (>50% of all Rwandan Farmers) are already involved. The access to advisory services in Rwanda has increased from 32% in 2012 to 68% in 2015. The results are spectacular: Farmers produce more, increase their income significantly, save in groups, buy and sell in group and venture in all kinds of economic activities. Who should participate? This learning event targets professionals who are actively involved in farmer to farmer extension systems. This includes extension agents, researcher on extension systems, coordinators of extension programs and others. A limited number of participants with no prior experience in farmer to farmer extension are welcome, but in order to get meaningful exchanges between participants, it is important that the majority has real experience in one way or another.

Come and present your experience ! We need you to bring your own experience! You might be invited to join the debate table during the opening TV show. Or you can present your approach or results at the conference. Submit your contribution online on www.twigire.com.

Registration Registration on www.twigire.com before 30 April is compulsory both for national and international participants. You can opt to attend all events or select the day(s) you want to join.
