Workshop Sessions Understand Students were exposed to the challenge statement and walked through data to help them understand the problem.

User The second task was about identifying a user segment and a specific problem for each team. Teams were guided through the process of customer development.

Ideate In the Ideation stage the students learned about design thinking and used several creative techniques such as energizers and reverse-brainstorming to come up with hundreds of new ideas. Then they select the best ideas and conceptualized one final solution which was pitched to their buddy team.

Prototype Once selecting a concept, teams created rapid prototypes of their ideas. Teams built websites, designed brochures, and crafted marketing power points for their pitches.

Pitch The final session of the Intel Youth Enterprise Program is for the teams to pitch their concepts to a panel of expert judges who evaluate the ideas based on their level of innovation and applicability to the challenge.
