Qualified Person Engineering support forPlanned Engineered Lifts perASME B30.2:
Lifts in excess of rated capacity are permitted per the
planned engineered liftprocedure inASME B30.2.
The crane supporting structure shall be reviewed by a
qualified person for any lift over the rated capacity.
For planned engineered lifts exceeding 125% of therated capacity, the components shall be reviewed by
means of calculations by a qualified person.
