Kentwood Players was organized because a small group of en-thusiastic thespians believed a community Little Theatre wouldbe a cultural asset to Westchester and give would-be actors anopportunity to fulfill their ambitions.

ARKY MARCOM, chairman of the group, has appeared in manyKentwood Players productions. He wi II be remembered for hisportrayal of Wilbur in "For Love or Money," Clem in "ChickenEvery Sunday," and Hodgson in "Love From a Stronger."

ARNOLD NAFTALIN received his dramatic training at the Uni-versity of Minnesota Dental School, where he was a memberof the drama closs, and at North Dakota State as on active par-ticipant in the "Little Country Theatre." His roles in KentwoodTheatre productions include Nick Potter in "Holiday," Mr. Rob-inson in "Chicken Every Sunday," and the bartender in the Olioof "On the Bridge at Midnight."

URCHYL BOHARD appeared in numerous school productions,and was active in the "Little Theatre of the Rockies" at ColoradoState College She is a member of Alpha Psi Omega, and playedleading roles in such well known ploys as "Snafu" and "Ladiesin Retirement." She has assisted with make-up for the post threeKentwood productions Her talents on stage were recognized Ina workshop play presented at a regular Kentwood meeting

CATHY CHASTI NE has appeared in one previous Kentwood pro-duction as Eunice in "On the Bridge at Midnight." She majoredin drama at City College, and aspires to 0 career in the theatre.She possesses a lovely soprano voice, and has appeared on bothradio and television.

PAUL HANOVER makes his initial appearance in a KentwoodPlayers major production. His versatile talents were applaudedin several workshop productions. He is a member of the West-chester Civic Chorus.

BEVERLY KI MBALL, a newcomer to Little Theatre, is an enthu-siastic member of the group. She has offered her services bothbackstage, and in the box office in past productions. She partici-pated in school productions, and has always desired to furtherher dramatic experience.

ANN SNYDER will never be forgotten as one of the "DreorySisters" in the Olio of "Curse of an Aching Heart." She alsoplayed the role of the schoolteacher in the play. She is the"Aunt Aggie" of Kentwood Players monthly newsletter to mem-bers, and spends all her spare time writing original scripts. Shehails from Detroit, where she directed a dramatic group for fiveyears.

KEN BOHARD has devoted most of his time to set designingand backstage work. He has assisted backstage wi th the lastfour Kentwood productions. This is Ken's first time on stage.

MARJOR IE MOCKETT was first seen with Kentwood Players in"Holiday" in the role of Julia Seton. She has since appeared in"Chicken Every Sunday" as Miss Sally, and as the heroine in"On the Bridge at Midnight." Marjorie majored in drama whileattending the University of Kansas City, and was a member ofthe Kansas City Westport Players. She has worked as an extraat Columbia and Paramount Studios .

JAN TRAUB stepped into the role of Daphne Martin in "TheDark Tower" with only one week's rehearsal, when the ac.tresscast in that role became ill. Since then, Jan 'has participated insome way in every production. Her lovely voice was heard in theOlio of "On the Bridge at Midnight." She has sung on both radioand television.

DAVI D DUSSI NG makes his theatrical debut in this production.

FRANK KIRSCHBERG, before coming to L.A., was affiliated withthe Loyola Community Theatre in Chicago, North Shore Playersof Crystal Lake, Community Theatre of Cincinnati, and the CivicTheatre of Indianapolis. Dancing and singing were his spec;ialtyat the Auditorium and Civic Theatres in Chicago. Frank appearedas Tom Larcomb in Kentwood Players production "Fresh Fields,"and will be well remembered .for his portrayal of Mr. Blachmanin "Chicken Every Sunday."

CARL THOMPSON is a radio and television actor, and has hadmany movie roles. His first stint with Kentwood Players was asthe Bostonian suitor in "Chicken Every Sunday." His versatilitywas proven by his portrayal of the butler in "On the Bridge atMidnight."

GORIA ROSEN tonight appears in her second Kentwood Playersmajor production. She will be remembered as Maybelle in "Onthe Bridge at Midnight." She also directed the dance numbersfor the Olio of the melodrama.

PAT NEWKIRK will be seen in her first Kentwood Players majorproduction tonight. She participated in school dramatics, andalways felt the desire to pursue further her interest in the theatre.Dancing is Pat's first love.

ALBERT FREEMAN' makes his initiol appearance with Kent-wood Players. His theatrical background includes appearancesin radio and television, and work with numerous New Yorktheatre groups. He had a major role in the Pasadena Playhouseproduction "Give My Regards to Broadway." His work in tele-vision included a pert in "Armchair Detective."
