Step 1 + 2

First of all I took a photo of her and imported it into photo shop.

Now that I had the picture I wanted to change the effect of the picture. I clicked on adjustment and then level preset. I then clicked on lightened shadows.

I then started messing with the shadows and colors. I did that by clicking on these three icons and clicking on the picture.

Step 4

I then finally came to a color and effect I liked. I feel like this picture truly portrays the image of I kissed a girl.

I then remembered that I needed to make the album cover the actual size of the album. I did this by clicking on image, then image size, and this box came up. I entered 12 into the width and height box and 400 into the resolution box. I then pressed OK and the image was now the right size.

Step 5

Seeing as the kisses in the album cover could not bee seen clearly I decided to insert pictures of kisses in to the picture. I did this by making a new layer and importing the kisses. I then needed to cut out the kisses, so I clicked on this magnetto lasso tool and drew a outline around the kisses. I then clicked on cut.

Step 6

I then pasted the kisses into the picture and added a extra one to make it look better.

As this is the back of the CD cover it needed to have the barcode and track listing. To insert the barcode I made a new layer and copied and pasted the barcode into the picture. To add the track listing I clicked on the text icon and made a text box in my picture and typed in the track listings. To get the font like that I I chose Lucida Handwriting.
