HOW TO INSTALL PRINTERS

Windows XP: Click Start , Printers and Faxes

Click on Add a Printer

Once you get to this screen select Network Printer option and click next.

When you see this screen click on the bubble where it shows the circled area and in the blank type \\fs1\

after this point you should see printer names where you can select the one you want. Choose one and continue following the steps till it is installed.

TROUBLESHOOTING: If by chance you are unable to see the printers pop up once you enter \\fs1\ make sure that there are no extra spaces and also make sure you are logged into the

network correctly. WINDOWS 7 cont. on next page...

Windows 7: Click Start and Devices and Printers (Devices and Printers will be located to the right below control panel on the start menu.)

Once you click on Devices and Printers you should see this screen

Select Add Printer and choose the second option for Network Printer

Once you select that option you will see this screen

If you see the printer you need listed select it and continue following the steps to install it on your computer. If not Select > The Printer that I want isn’t listed

(cont.)In the blank type \\fs1\ and after you type the last slash you should see the printers.

Choose the printer you would like to install and click next until it is finished installing on your computer.
