HOW TO INSTALL THE PRINTERS IN MAC

You have to be connected to the wifi of IE

. Click on this link : https://www.support.xerox.com/support/workcentre-7800-series/downloads/enus.html?operatingSystem=macOS10_15 Select “built-in controller”

Click on “macOS Common Print Driver Insaller”

Scroll down and accept the download.

Open de driver.

Click on “continue”.

Continue.

Continue.

Accept.

Install.

Type your password.

Continue.

Click on “close” and “move to the trash”. Go to “system preferences” and then click on “printers and scanners”

Add the printer clicking on the button.

Hold the Crtl and then click next to “Windows”. Then click on “customize toolbar”.

Grab the “advaced option” and move it next to “Windows”

Click on accept.

Click on Advanced.

o URL: smb://xepr002.ie.es/student_mfp - Campus Segovia

o UR L: smb:// xeprseg01.ie.es/student_mfp - Name: IEPrinter

Click on “Select driver” and then “select software”.

Type 7845.

Select the driver and click on “accept”.

Click on “add”. Then configure.

Accept.

Choose the flie that you want to print, when you send the document, this screen will pop up.

You need to use your User ID from IE and the password. The user ID is your email without the at(@). When the document disapears from the print spooler is ready to print. If in the document shows “Hold for autentication” its becouse you put your password wrong. To fix that you need to acces to the keychains and delete the IEPrinter. Then try to identificate again.
