While you can’t go wrong with either (and both offer tremendous protection), there are slight differences between the full brim and front brim. With full brim hard hats, where the brim encircles the entire hat all the way around, you are offered increased sun protection for your neck and ears. Front brim hard hats are perfect for when the main concern is protecting the head while using the least bulk possible. COLOR PREFERENCE Color is another determining factor to choosing your hard hat. Many road construction workers prefer orange, as orange is common for traffic signs. Construction is famous for showcasing the classic yellow hard hat, however this is constantly changing. As brand recognition becomes more popular, white is often a common choice to better show company logos that can be printed on hard hats. Personal preference can also come into play, too, with enough colors available to simply choose your favorite.
