Thank you for your generosity!

Women’s Group Meeting The Women’s Group will meet this morning after Mass. We encourage all of our groups to enjoy the brunch with family and friends and then begin the meeting after brunch.

Altar Server Recognition Day Thank you Stephanie Ivie and our altar servers. This past year we have been blessed with a coordinator and a number of young people who have stepped forward (and up) to assist in our Mass celebrations. This is not easy to do and we appreciate all of your efforts. If more of our young people would like to participate, please visit with Stephanie after Mass.

Parish Council Briefs Holy Family Catholic Church is now accepting bids for the washing and staining of the cedar siding exterior of church building. Date of bid closing: 05/14/2016. Scope of work: Washing, staining and removal of waste material resulting from the work. The stain used must approximate the current color. The area to be covered is approximately 8500 sq. ft. Exterior of the church is available for inspection at any time. If access to the interior is necessary for bid preparation, please call Deacon Phil. We are looking for a maintenance supervisor. If anyone is interested in serving in this position, please speak to a council member.

Food Bank This past Sunday, our donation to the Food Bank was $50. This $50, coupled with the participation of the Food Bank of the Rockies, results in $500 worth of food being donated to the Thayne Food Bank. In very short order, our donation becomes a wonderful gift to those in our community who are in need, during these difficult times. Thank you Holy Family!!!!!

First Reconciliation & First Communion

First Reconciliation will be on Sunday, April 24th. If you will not be able to attend, please contact Diane Palmer so that arrangements can be made for the administration of this Sacrament.

First Holy Communion will take place during Mass on May 8th, which is also Mother’s Day.

Registration New to the parish or never had the opportunity to register? Please let one of the deacons know in order to fill out a registration card, or email Deacon Bill at [email protected].

Mass on Tuesday, April 26 Father Louie will be celebrating the monthly Tuesday Mass on April 26th. Please plan to attend if your schedule permits.

Dear Parishioners: We are delighted to announce that our parish will be offering Vacation Bible School this summer. The program we have chosen is from CatChat. The theme will be Cathletics, Training to be Champions for Life. This is a one-week program that will focus on “Training” kids in the Word of God. The teachings will be on the Greatest Commandments, 10 Commandments, Beatitudes, Fruits of the Spirit, and Evangelization. The program will run June 20

th-24

th from

8:30am-12pm. We invite all children/grandchildren to join in this week. Parents, this is a wonderful week of faith and fun that your child will enjoy. Please send your children. Grandparents, if you would like to invite your grandchildren to be a part of this please do so. All children ages Preschool to Sixth grade are welcome. We will need help from the parish to make this year’s VBS a success. We are looking for someone to help with music, food, and teachers/aides. We are also looking for volunteers for crafts and decorating. High school and Jr. High students, this would be a great opportunity to get involved with the church and earn some community service hours. If you can help in any of these areas, it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Deacon Bill Hill or Angie Jirak at [email protected] or 307-885-0220.

We are excited to be able to offer this opportunity for our parish youth. Come and join the fun!
