Waterloo areas since 1994. Scott Hoegy realized he had found his calling in the construction industry during his apprenticeship on the 4-year long construction of a 34,000 square foot home. He continued building up solid construction skills in everything from trim work, windows, cabinetry, framing, concrete and steel work. By 1992, Scott earned his Ontario certification for general carpentry.

Scott Hoegy Building Ltd now proudly consists of a team of certified carpenters and apprentices plus sub trades, architects and designers. Scott Hoegy has a passion for trim work, especially crown moulding. You only have to view the display of his trademark coffered ceiling in his home showroom; it’s a testament to his talent. The astounding work reveals his distinct eye for detail and the close attention he pays to getting every detail right.

You will notice the fine craftsmanship close up in bathroom and kitchen renovations, as well as in the unique features installed. It is evident in

the stunning outcome of larger scale projects such as the 1860 stone house whose new addition looks as if it has always existed alongside the original. Their talent for matching and replicating gave the heritage house the exact look and feel of the period. Scott Hoegy Building Ltd transformed a 19th century Elora schoolhouse into a family home that retained the warmth and simplicity of the original building while adding modern, comfortable child- and adult-friendly conveniences.
