Implementation of CAPS

• CAPS will be implemented in Grades 4-12 in 2012.

• The decision to implement the CAPS in a phased approach is to use

the 18 month period to plan for the full scale implementation in 2012.

• Assessment:– Learn the theorems well (off by heart)– Leave the riders for last– Try to do them if time allows

• Teaching:– Learn the theorems well (off by heart)– Do perhaps two riders per theorem in class– Give many riders to solve at home
