Looking for something new and different to do during this period? Harbor Place has received a number of letters from local middle schoolers looking for a pen pal. We are looking for residents who would be willing to write to these students. Harbor Place is willing to provide the paper, envelopes and postage. Harbor Place would like to thank your cooperation and understanding during this time. We share your concerns about the spread of COVID-19 and want to keep you and your neighbors safe and healthy. With this in mind we are also following the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention recommendations. We are encouraging you not to go out of the building for non-essential visits. This protects not only yourself but other residents and our associates. Ask your doctor if any of your appointments can be done virtually, we can help you with this. Please remember that we are not currently allowing visitors. Going outside to visit your loved-one is still considered visiting. This is risking the health and safety of other residents and our associates. Thank you, I understand this is difficult. We are all in this together! Service with a smile is one

way to describe this

month’s employee of the

month. Erika is a hard

worker, dedicated and

goes the extra mile. She

is no stranger to this award. For the month of

April, Erika was

nominated for her

dedication to the

residents in times of

separation. She works

hard to make sure the

residents get what they

order tray after tray.

Thank you, Erika, for

working so hard to make

sure that the residents are taken care of. You do a

great job and are a

pleasure to work with.

Keep up the hard work!

Nothing is more important to

Harbor Place than our resident’s

safety, health and happiness. We

understand that this is

challenging time to stay

connected to your loved ones.

Video conferencing allows users

at different locations to hold face

-to-face conversations. Harbor

Place is offering this service. If

you want to see your family and

talk to them, please let the front

desk or activity department

know. We would love to help

you set up a virtual visit. Staff

can help contact your family, get

the meeting set up and be there

for technical support. We want

you to stay connected.
