Steel pipe manufactureUsing international technology and locally produced steel, spirally welded steel pipes up to three metres in diameter are manufactured at the Group Five Pipe factory in Gauteng. Steel pipes have been successfully used as piles on deep water projects.

Group Five has been working with Vodacom at Voda Valley in Midrand since the mid-1990s. The first phase was for Vodaworld, the world’s first one-stop cellular mall with ultra-modern external façades and high-tech internal finishes throughout. Most recent was phase 6 for the highly technical MSC(mobile switch centre) building.
