BUILDING LOCAL NETWORKS
Green Partnerships3rd Annual Forum- Danube Cosmos, Vienna, 27 June 2014 5
BackgroundEach municipality/region has a plan/strategy to improve the situationEnergy efficiency and use of RES are popular topics
BUT:
In reality it’s hard to improve thingsStrategy/plan lies in the drawerPeople are not aware enough of what should be done and how employees in responsible organisations (municipalities, energy agencies etc.) and people affected by the measures (in public buildings, users of facilities, lightning etc)

Needs are:

energy strategies
To enhance capacity of employees in public
administration

To educate and increase awareness and build new
habits
To include companies and SMEs with new technology
and approaches

people
To build on existing knowledge and methods
