To Make

Using no 4 mm crochet hook make a magic circle and into it work as follows;

1st

Round: 3 ch (counts as 1 tr), 2 tr into ring, * 2 ch, 3 tr into ring, rep from * two more

times. Pull up the magic circle to tighten, 1 ch, 1 dc into 3rd

ch, 3 tr) all worked into next 2 ch sp, rep from * once more , (1 ch , 3 tr in next 1

ch sp) x 6, 1 ch, 3 tr into corner. Turn work.

9th

row: 3 ch (counts as 1 tr), * (1 ch, 3 tr in next 1 ch sp) x 7, 1 ch, (3 tr, 2 ch, 3 tr) all

worked into next 2 ch sp, rep from * once more , (1 ch , 3 tr in next 1 ch sp) x 6, 1

ch, 1 tr into last tr of row. Fasten off.

Work another piece the same.

Sew together at side seams sewing 1st

2.5 cm (1 inch) at lower edge and 6 cm (2.5 cm) at top

edge, leaving the gap in the middle for spout/handle.

Run a gathering thread around top opening and pull in. Sew up so that there is no hole at

top. Make a pom pom using a pom pom maker or cardboard rings, and attach to the top.
