Granny Square Poncho By Brenda Reiter DIRECTIONS Beginner SIZE Girls’ sizes 6–6X (8–10, 12–14) Length from top neckline rib- bing to corner of granny square is 21 (23, 25) inches MATERIALS • Worsted weight yarn: 5 (6, 7) oz light celery green, 4 (5, 6) oz medium sage green, 5 (6, 8) oz windsor blue and 5 (5, 6) oz variegated greens and blue • Size H/8 crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge • Tapestry needle GAUGE Granny square = 4 1 4 inches; 4 rnds dc = 2 inches Check gauge to save time.
