driveto andfrom thewalk. Thiswalk isnot strenuousbut doesrequire

traversing two short swing bridges over the Mkuze River. The walk

meandersunderthecanopyofgiantsycamorefigs.Theoldestofwhichis

estimatedat450years.Thesilenceoftheforestisbrokenbyamultitude

ofbird callstypifiedby thewail oftrumpeterhornbills. Special sightings

have included Pels Fishing Owl, African Broadbill and Blue mantled

Flycatcher.
