Our grade eight students will be writing Division- al exams in Language Arts and Math and school based exams in all other subjects. Our grade sev- en and nine students will be writing school based exams in all of their subjects. We would like to re- mind all of our students that these last few weeks of school are very important. We encourage you to stay focused and work hard at completing your course work and preparing for your exams. Gen- eral Wolfe is currently receiving supports from the NEEDS center. The NEEDS center staff will be running after school programs on Tuesdays and Thursday from 3:30- 5:00. Students are invited to bring their assignments or review for exams with the staff. I would like to extend an invitation to our parents/guardians to attend our Awards Ceremonies on June 28th. The grade 7 and 8 Awards will be at 9:30 in the school gym. The grade 9 Closing Exer- cises are at 1:30 p.m., also in the school gym. I would once again, like to thank everyone for your ongoing support of General Wolfe School. I look forward to seeing you at our Spring Concert on Thursday, June 2 at 6:30 p.m. Our dance program has also organized a Zumbathon on Thursday, June 9 th , all proceeds will go toward the families who were impacted by the Fort McMurray fire. If you would like to pur- chase a ticket please contact the school. Tickets are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for students. This is a wonderful opportunity to exercise and support a great cause. Mga Mahal na Magulang/Tumatayong Magulang: Hunyo na! Nakakagulat na patapos na ang isang school year at kami ay naghahan-da na sa mga gawaing pangkatapusan ng pasukan. Lahat ng ating mga estudyante ay mageeksamen ngayong buwan. Ang ating mga estudyanteng nasa Grade 8 ay magsusulat ng eksamen na bigay ng Division sa Language Arts at Math at ang eksamen sa iba pa nilang subjects ay bigay ng eskuwela. Ang aming mga grade seven at nine na mga estudyante ay magsusulat ng eksamen sa Language Arts at Math at lahat ng iba nilang subjects na gawa sa eskuwelahan. Ibig naming ipaalala sa lahat ng mga estudyante na mahalaga ang mga huling linggo ng pasukan. Ibig namin kayong magfocus at magaral ng mabuti at kompletohin ang inyong mga course work at paghandaan ang inyong eksamen. Ang General Wolfe ay kasalukuyang tumatanggap ng suporta mula sa NEEDS Cen-ter. Ang staff ng NEEDS Center ay may mga programa pagkatapos ng klase tuwing Martes at Huwebes mula 3:30-5:00 ng hapon. Inaanyayahan ang mga estudyante na dalhin ang kanilang assignments o magreview para sa mga eksamen katulong ang staff. Inaanyayahan ko po ang aming mga magulang/tumatayong magulang na dumalo sa Awards Ceremony sa Hunyo 28. Ang grade 7 at 8 Awards ay gaganapin ng 9:30 ng umaga sa school gym. Ang closing exercises ng Grade 9 ay gaganapin ng 1:30 ng hapon, sa gym din Pamuli, ibig kong magpasalamat sa inyong lahat sa patuloy ninyong pagsusuporta sa General Wolfe School. Inaasahan ko kayong makita sa ating Spring Concert sa Huwebes, Hunyo 2, 6:30 ng hapon. Ang ating dance program ay nagayos ng Zumbathon sa Huwebes, June 9

th at lahat ng kikitain ay mapupunta sa mga pamilya

na naapektohan ng sunog sa Fort McMurray. Kung ibig ninyong bumili ng ticket, maaari lang na kumontak sa eskuwelahan. Ang ticket para sa adults ay $10 at $5.00 sa mga estudyante. Room 151 @ The Canadian Human Rights Museum

Gr. 9 students from Rm. 151 had the opportunity to explore one of the most re-markable museums in the country. Students have spent the last 2 months learn-ing about Human Rights & Genocides. They were able to gather relevant re-sources to support their final essay. DANCE MANITOBA

General Chaos competed in the annual Dance Manitoba competition at Pantages Playhouse Theatre. The team was entered in 13 and under line group.

The 24 dancers have been practicing extremely hard over the past months. All of their hard work paid off; they were award GOLD for an outstanding performance! Way to

go Chaos!

CONGRATULATIONS NICHOLE!

Nichole competed in the 15 and under SOLO category at Dance Manitoba where she received GOLD HON-OURS for a well-executed performance. She was one of 2 girls who received this prestige award out of 20 competitors! WOW! Nichole is one of General Wolfe’s seasoned dancers. She has been training for the past 3 years in the schools dance program. Nichole has developed into an outstanding performer. She inspires many of the dance students with her passion and ability to dance! She will be missed in our program next year! Great work Nichole!
