Parish Announcements

Come down to the church basement after the first three Masses today and get a cup of coffee and a donut for $1. You can also purchase Scrip cards there and stop by the OLV bookstore to get any religious articles you need.

Second Banns of Marriage are announced for William Joseph Berrier, from ICC and Mary Elena DeTar, from ICC and

formerly from San Jose, CA, who are to be married on June 23, 2018 at ICC. Any persons knowing of any impediments

to this union are obliged, under conscience, to notify the Pastor as soon as possible.

Confirmations It seems that we do not have all the registration forms in for Confirmation. Please note that these

forms must be submitted by May 4th, otherwise your child will have to wait until next year! Testing for all non-

Academy & non-St. Dominic candidates will take place on Monday May 7th in the parish hall at 4:30 pm. This will be a

written test. If your child needs to take the test orally please contact Fr Dreher ASAP. Please make sure your child knows

that material contained in the minimum knowledge sheet since the test will be based on this information. To pass the test

and 85% must be obtained. Any retesting will be done orally on the following Monday, May 14th.

Prayers/Sacrifices for the General Chapter The Legion of Mary in Kansas City is collecting prayers and sacrifices for

the intentions of the General Chapter during the months of May and June. Please sign your name on the sheets in the ves-

tibule if you would like to take part in this prayer effort. May God bless your generosity!
