Valley. The 44th Annual CornishChristmas will takeplace this Friday andagain on December23rd from 6:00-9:00pmon Mill Street and MainStreets in downtownGrass Valley. This is afree, family event fea-turing a variety of

Celebrates its 10 th YearFrom January 13 th to the 15 th , South Yuba River
Citizens League (SYCL) will be presenting their 10th Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival. Each year, thisFilm Festival draws top filmmakers, celebrities, leading activists, social innovators and well-known worldadventurers to Nevada City to not only show films butmany times interact with Film Festival attendees. Over350 films were submitted for consideration for showing at this years event. That total was narrowed down to115 films that will be presented at various area theatersand locations during the three days. This years Wild &Scenic Film Festival will also feature a selection of someof the most popular films that have been shown in past years.
Considered the largest film festival of its kind, thoseattending will see award winning films about nature,community activism, adventure, conservation, water,energy and climate change, wildlife, environmental jus-tice, agriculture, Native American and indigenous cul-
