AboutThe ideal space saving mini stand. Ideal for holding a wing in the position you find it on the
vehicle to enable easier blending with a adjacent panel.
Safe Usage1 Build up the Trestle ensuring all the fixings are tight.
2 Check that panels are correctly and securely mounted on the stand before use.
3 Always use the FMT1100 Wingthing on a level surface. Don’t attempt to use it if the
stand is rocking or in anyway instable.
4 The FMT1100 Wingthing is designed for vehicle panel preparation and spraying. Do
not use this piece of equipment for any other purpose than that intended. MISUSE OF
ANY TOOL OR STAND COULD LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURY AND DEATH.
5 Always wear relevant PPE in accordance with HSE guidelines and your own Health and
Safety policy.
6 Make sure that your working environment is clean and tidy.
7 Be aware of other persons’ activity around you and remember that your action may
have a direct effect on people and property.
Assembly Instructions1 Bolt lower centre support to base using 2 x 8mm Set Screws.
2 Locate 10mm finger screw in lower centre support.
3 Slide T-frame into lower centre support and secure with finger screw. Insert 25mm Sq
end caps.
4 Assemble and mount FMT131 Swivel Locking Device into T Frame.
5 Insert 10mm cranked bar with end cap into swivel locking device.
6 Place foam onto T Frame.
7 Load wing and off you go!
