We are looking for teachers with a passion to work in an outstanding mainstream academy that prides itself on its inclusive ethos with a high number of pupils on EHCPs and a successful Autistic Spectrum Disorder Resource. You will have the ability to work with a team of dedicated support staff and teachers whilst playing a full part in the wider aspects of our SEND provision. The role will teach a range of subjects across KS3 and KS4, according to specialisms. You will need emotional resilience in working with some challenging behaviours. Classes are well resourced and small, and most learning takes place in our newly refurbished Personal Learning Centre. Experience teaching students with EBD is important but applications will be welcome from experienced mainstream secondary teachers, primary teachers and overseas trained teachers.
