Film Trailer Deconstruction The Fault in Our Stars

(This shot I have specifically taken due to the fact it shows what company this film has been title by, 20th CENTURY FOX, which is a well know Film Corporation. This camera angle that I have stopped it at kind just shows the viewer what corporation it is made by and as music in the back ground it sounds like the type of music that would present something as magnificent. As well as that they use several bright light that shine in various directions towards the sign which could make it stand out to be something spectacular which can be quite intriguing to the audience. )

(These two scenes start of the trailer by giving the audience and insight of where and when this shot could possible by without using an establishing shot. This is shown by a long shot looking into deep space almost as point of view shot and then it switches to a mid shot of a young woman character. This most certainly shows that she is in deep emotion about something that has happened or happening but by the purity in which the cloths she is wearing also shows that she hasnt done anything wrong but shows that she is a peaceful and kind character. Throughout this first scene the woman has edited in a voice over of herself explaining to the audience how it all began.)

(Looking at this over shoulder shot looking towards the young character it shows that she is in a happy environment even though she has some problems that have occurred in her life; Things such as her having to carry round medication that keeps her sustained and alive. But the way she smiles and looks at the male character could indicate to the audience that she is showing some feeling towards this character.)

(These two final shots show their deep emotion and emotion towards one another, the following sot reverse shot angles show the tears of happiness and compassion from what the young guy has to say to her. The reason the screenshot shows this is because of the facial emotions that are shown on the screen. The male character shows the audience what an honest gentlemen he is, this is shown by the reaction from the girl that shes giving and the smartness in the cloths that he wares, showing the audience that he is making an effort to look good in front of what you may call his true love. The sounds and background music played over these scenes are peaceful and calm which shows that it is in a happy environment and what it also shows is that these calm songs are most frequent in the romantic genre.)
