Painting professionally since 1980, Kasey has painted in many overseas countries, holding painting workshops like the one planned for September 16 - 30 in 2018 in Tuscany. Kasey
holds tutorials in his home studio & for Art Societies in Australia and the Australian bush is the source of much of his inspiration. Having published several books and videos, and lectured extensively, he talks of his work as: “A direct influence of the impressionist style of painting with a direct hand eye co ordination in front of the subject trying to capture the subtleties of mood, light and atmosphere, always trying to avoid any formulation, sentimentality and cliché, giving the individual viewer a unique visual experience every time”. Kasey’s has an impressive list of awards and we very much look forward to his demonstration.
2018 AGM - Thurs 1st March We will start at 6.30pm so come along, have your say,
nominate for, or just support and meet this year’s committee. The critique will follow so bring your art works and join us
for supper afterwards! Visitors Welcome.
2018 MEMBERSHIPS ARE NOW DUE

Art awards include many from local art exhibitions & the St George Art Society, for Watercolour, Contemporary Art, and sketching. Artworks are held in private collections in Canada, United States and Australia. A past president of St. George Art Society & current Vice President and con-venor of the Society’s Plein air and Sketchability activities, Don is a valuable member of the society.
