enjoy Pastor Lee’s children’s address.
The service will be followed by
morning tea and a time of fellowship.
Premier’s Be Active Challenge We are asking students to
take up the Challenge again

taking part in 60 minutes of physical
activity on at least 5 days of the week
for at least 4 weeks. Activity log forms
are available from classroom teachers

Premier’s Reading Challenge The P remier’ s Reading

until 1:00pm. The session will consist of
an introduction to the players, who
will explain their pathway into the AFL
as well as a talk about healthy
lifestyles and what the AFL pre-season
consists of. After that there will be a
question and answer component,
and group photo. Students who have
any Port Adelaide merchandise that
they would like signed are invited to
bring it along on the day.
School Sport SA Information There are many opportunities for
students to participate in School Sport
SA events throughout the year.
Riverland Carnivals are predominately
aimed at Year 6/7 students, however
there are chances for Year 5’s and
students aged as young as 10 to
participate.
Participating in School Sport SA events is
a great opportunity to try a new sport,
meet students from other schools and
possibly attain selection to compete at
a higher level.
Throughout the year, students can
express interest to participate in sports.
Firstly, for any child to participate,
permission is required from parents,
teachers, PE coordinator and the
principal. Any information about the
event, trainings and travel will be
supplied to parents and teachers.
Prompt return of any consent forms is
greatly appreciated.
A Riverland School Sport calendar is
also available from the WLPS office. If
you have any queries please contact
Steven Braun (PE Coordinator).
