1 Introduction

1.1 Revision History

1.2 Purpose

The purpose of a fast track sequence for I&V is to provide an indication of

the integration and verification status. Besides, it serves as a guideline /

recommendation for the order of testing the system (i.e., from bottom to top).

Since the function descriptions and use cases normally describe just a part of

the system, the fast track sequence puts these descriptions in perspective of

the whole system (or services which the system provide), and hence it serves

as well as a guideline to I&V for reading these descriptions.

This document describes the fast track sequences for release P2.0.

TRINT_UTRAN_FL:20 Network expansion.It shall be possible to update and expand a valid andplanned configuration in RANOS for TN and RNwith configuration parameters generated by TRAM.This means that RANOS shall be able to export anactive and planned configuration.Then TRAM shall be able to import this, updateand/or expand the network.Then TRAM shall be able to export theconfiguration parameters.Last step is that RANOS shall be able to import thisdata into a new or an existing planned configuration.

2.3 System Configuration

The following system configuration is applicable for all fast track sequences

(see 2/0033-HSD10102/1 for more information on reference models).

The configuration contains 3 RBSs, each (at least) 1 cell, 2 RNCs, 1 RANOS,

and 1 TRAM. The configuration has interfaces to a MS Simulator, CN

Simulator for PS domain and CS domain.

It also contains a GSM RBS that is controlled by a BSC.

RBS2 contains 2 cells that belong to LA1. All other cells in the system belong

to LA2.

(see 2/0033-HSD10102/1 for more information on reference models).
