Guinea’s economy is directly benefited by the large amount of minerals present in its territory, having a third of bauxite reserves have been discovered on the planet,1.8 billion metric tons of iron ore, diamond and large deposits of gold, several areas of the oil being exploited and yet undetermined quantities of uranium. Guinea also has a considerable growth potential in sectors such as agriculture and fishing. Land, water and climatic conditions favor agriculture and large-scale agribusiness.
