EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. SCB-PRES-01-051214

AN ORDER APPOINTING GWENA DALE CAUBANG AS EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

OF THE SAMAHAN PRESIDENT

WHEREAS, the elected SAMAHAN President has the power to appoint members of

his/her office to discharge specific functions, in accordance with Article 7, Section 1 of

the Constitution of SAMAHAN ng mga Mag-aaral ng Ateneo de Davao University;

WHEREAS, the elected SAMAHAN president is in need of people who can assist

him/her in his duties as SAMAHAN President;

WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Gwena Dale Caubang, a bona fide student of

the Ateneo de Davao University taking up Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication,

shall be appointed the Executive Secretary of the SAMAHAN President

WHEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following are the powers,

functions, duties and responsibilities of the Executive Secretary:

a. Shall attend all SAMAHAN meetings

b. Shall take personal minutes for the SAMAHAN President

c. Shall receive files and documents in the absence of the SAMAHAN President

d. Shall manage all documents and files of the SAMAHAN President

e. Shall be the liaison of the President to the different Committee Heads &

Division Representatives.

f. Shall do other things as deemed necessary by the President related to his

responsibility to the SAMAHAN Central Board

WHEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the Executive Secretary shall serveupon appointment of the President of the member council until his/her replacement is

appointed by the President of the incoming year.

WHEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Executive Secretary is

mandated to comply with the provisions as stated in the 1982 SAMAHAN Constitution

and its by-laws.

WHEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any provision of this Order is

declared unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity and effectivity of the

other provisions hereof.

WHEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that this Executive Order shall take effect

immediately.
