Thanksgiving As Thanksgiving approaches we remember those less fortunate. First (Scots) has a tradition of donating desserts to Crisis Ministries each year. Pull out your favorite recipes and bring the desserts to Molly Wier Hall by 12 noon on Tuesday, November 26th. Crisis Ministries will pick them up.

Our elementary age children were given cardboard turkeys and asked to fill them with quarters for the children at the Thornwell Home in Clinton, South Carolina during the Time for Children on October 27th and in their Sunday School classrooms and in Kirk Club in November. We ask for parents help in getting these back by Sunday, November 24th to their classroom teacher or the church office. Thank you for participating and making the difference in a child’s life.

Offering for the Thornwell Home for Children November is the emphasis month for the Thornwell Home for Children. Your special offering is very much needed and appreciated in the nurture, love and Christian guidance in the everyday lives of these children. Special envelopes can be found in the pews and various locations around the church. Thank you for your generous support.
