The Role: Reporting to the CMO (Marketing and Events Director), the Event Producer will be responsible for managing and implementing events and multifaceted projects on behalf of the company and its event customers and partners. Projects may include product and service launches, conferences, gala dinners, road shows, corporate events and hospitality. The producer will also be responsible for technical event services, including the design and delivery of digital events. Social media and digital communications form a significant part of the role of Event Producer. Working in partnership with the Events Sponsorship and Marketing Manager to drive interest, engagement and revenues from events through social and digital sign-up. This activity will include event activation pre-event, community development during event and engagement post event (forming a continuum for sector specific interests). The Role:

In detail:

Development and implementation of a continuum of events Event concept development (digital and physical) Business development (driving event revenues)

Planning, development and implementation of the organisation’s event marketing strategy, event marketing communications, and public relations and communications activities, both external and internal as they relate to events. A particular focus will be on digital event development

Development for overall the event marketing strategy and product/programme strategies Lead development of event propositions for the company’s programmes and

services Lead on new event product and service development.

Project management Timeline and milestone planning Onsite event and conference management

Liaison with creative and design teams Costing and project budgeting.

Manage online event presence from editorial, design and functionality perspective, identifying opportunities for development and improvement incorporating appropriate measurement and analysis

Design and manage digital events efforts (including technical management of webinars, online seminars and ‘social’ event community building

Manage the efforts of the events team staff and coordinate at strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organisation

Working with the Events Sponsorship and Marketing Manager to identify and develop event valuable collaboration and partnering opportunities to promote the brand and support the company’s programme/business objectives

Support sales team in the development and execution of events relating to recruitment and retention campaigns, advising on marketing tools and techniques to optimise sales cycle and meet KPIs

Ensure optimisation of internal processes for the commissioning of events and event marketing activity, setting appropriate service expectations and performance measures

Contribute to the regular review of the event production experience and recommend improvements

Salary

The budget for this position goes up to £50k –this is the top end of the budget but it is NOT a prerequisite you would be offered this should you get through the process- it is depending on the value you can add and your experience level currently.
