MY AUDIENCE

My audience will spend a large quantity of their money on concerts, gigs

and music festivals; as this is what they enjoy most in life. They are either in

full time work, or still studying in university, college or sixth form. They are

most likely to have very minimal money, so this is why the magazine is

priced rather low, in comparison to others.

This audience will most commonly still live at home with their family, or live

in a rented flat; so they will have little money to afford items.

The audience enjoy vinyl records, festival, concerts, gigs, going to Camden

on weekends and discovering/finding new bands. They also enjoy to drink

beers on the weekends with their friends and with good music playing in the

background. They’ll also enjoy playing instruments or singing, so will join

up with other friend and have a jam session.

SOCIAL GROUPS

My media represents the Indie/Rock social groups; it done this

by using a model that enjoys the music, and can represent the

music so the target audience engage with her. I’ve also made

sure my media products include the latest knowledge on

musical news. My product represents the Indie/Rock social

groups because of the language and images used throughout

the pages. By using text that all age groups can read it allows

the audience to enjoy the text without the common ‘slang’ used

in young teenagers nowadays; this allows them to read the text

and enjoy all the images without having to understand the

slang.
