THEMES

The main and most obvious theme of the music video is spreading love. This

theme was chosen because it corresponds with what the song is about. Both the

video and digipack have many differences when it comes to visuals. However we

made sure that there was a theme that we kept consistent for both media

products and that theme is URBANISM. Both the main and ancillary products

display other themes as well as urbanism

PRINT PRODUCTSThe print products explore a completely different theme which is simplicity, the

music video explores this theme too in some ways but it is not the main theme.

The theme of simplicity is shown through the use if colours in the print products

as they are kept to only a few which are red, black, white and grey and are quite

basic. Its also shown through the images of the artist, his facial expressions are

neutral and he looks rather serious.

MUSIC VIDEOThe music video has a fun and effulgent theme which is created through the use

of bright lighting throughout the video which us associated with happiness and

togetherness which also represents the artist in the video and his personality. The

fact that the visuals of the video and the lyrics of the song correspond with each

other allows the audience to be emotionally effected by it as well as stay engaged

whilst having a good understanding of the purpose of the song . the theme was

predominantly inspired by Tinie Temepah’s music video for his song called “not

letting go”. Although the song we picked and his song are pf different genre’s we

wanted to portray the same vibes and emotion he did through his video;

HOW AFFECTIVELY DOES YOUR CD DIGIPACK PROMOTE YOUR MUSIC VIDEO?

I feel like my cd digipack promotes the music video well through both products

differences rather than similarities. The album being called “a little love” which is

not shown through the digipacks colours and other features leaves the audience

with some curiosity as to what the video would look like in comparison to the vide

rather than it being predictable if I had used the same kinds of shot, locations and

lighting for the digipack as I used in the video.

MIGHT YOU EXTEND THIS PACKAGE IF YOU WERE OPERATING IN THE REAL WORLD?

In the real world I would most definitely use other ways of destruction to get my

product seen by more people such as use of television adverts, billboards,

posters, radio broadcasts, social media and more. Having said that, to focus my

distribution more on my target audience social media would be the most effective

way of distributing and advertising y music video and print product. Young people

tend to be connected to most social media networks such as Twitter, Instagram

etc. So promotion on social media would be the best way to get my product

known.

HOW MIGHT YOUR PACKAGE COMPARE TO REAL MEDIA PRODUCTS?

My print products are similar to packages in the real world as it consists of the

same features such as images, a list of songs, and also little things such as a

barcode, website, social media details etc. Also I have noticed that in most real

life print products things tend to be kept simple with all the focus simply on the

artist, which is also what I tried to portray in my package.
