Tony Behan converted a steal into a layup in over-time and later hit two free throws to seal Emmanuel Christian’s 46-42 overtime win over Toledo Christian in boys basketball last night.

Julius Turner led the Warriors (6-14, 4-8) with 23 points, and Behan chipped in with 15.

EC’s Mike Henning hit a 3-pointer to tie the score on the team’s fi nal possession of regulation.

The Eagles (9-7, 7-4) got 17 points from Brad Fox and 10 from Jeremy Weemes.

WHITEFORD 75, DEERFIELD 60

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. — Whiteford’s Jake DuPree broke the 1,000-point bar-rier with 26 points to power the Bobcats past Britton-Deerfi eld.

DuPree fi nished the con-test with 1,019 career points and snagged 14 rebounds.

Teammate Brandon Al-bright also had 26 points, followed by Chris Roberts with 13.

Deerfi eld’s Kieffer Schul-theis and Cody Connor each contributed 11 points.

the TAAC champion Green Bears (18-2, 12-0) with 13 points while Katherine Ja-mieson added 12.

Kara Segler scored 17 point to lead four Eagles in double fi gures.
