This session is designed for faculty who want to take a hands-on approach and build their own course using tools inside the Blackboard LMS. While we don't cover all the tools, we make sure you know the basics so you come away feeling comfortable in constructing a course with a strong foundation that you can use right now but also keep improving for years to come.
Creating Quick, Reusable Videos with Kaltura
Use Kaltura Capture and Media Space to create, caption, edit and share lecture recording videos with your students. Video assignment and quiz will also be featured as alternative evalu-ation methods you can use to assess your students.
Hosting Engaging Live Sessions with Collaborate Ultra & Google Meet
Collaborate Ultra and Goolge Meet are synchronous video conferencing tools supported at MacEwan University. This session will demonstrate to you how to use these tools to:
connect with students in real time
deliver live audio/video
share applications, �les, screens, and a whiteboard
conduct ad-hoc polling
provide students with breakout sessions for group work
Mastering the Blackboard Grade Center
This session will take you through the steps of entering, editing, displaying student grades via Grade Center.
