EGE is a group of companies assembled in an internationally operating holding company, which offers primarily deliveries of special equipment for the power engineering industry – busducts, arc suppression coils, steel structures. Our holding company is supported solely by Czech capital. The Busduct and Aluminium Products Di-vision is engaged in a wide range of activi-ties relating to producing and installing busducts, particularly those required by power station generator outlets. The history of busduct production at EGE dates back to the early 1970's. Since then, the division has diversified its pro-ducts, which now include all common busduct varieties with air insulation.

The power series of EGE busducts can handle up to 25 kA for self-cooled IPBs and 50 kA for forced cooled IPBs. The power series for non-segregated phase /NSPB/ and segregated phase /SPB/ systems boasts a maximum range of 5 kA.

The division carries out, amongst other things, consultancy, design, studies, construction, production, assembly, installation and commissioning, as well as facilitating supervision by designers on building sites, maintenance, reconstruc-tion work and repairs. Furthermore, the division designs and manufactures steel structures for supporting busducts.

All busducts produced by EGE conform to the requirements of IEC and ANSI stan-dards in terms of construction. Product quality is supported by continual research and development. Moreover, the divi-sion’s quality control system is certified in accordance with EN ISO 9001, EN ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, EN ISO 3834-2 and GOST.

The division produces a range of pro-ducts for the power industry, in particu-lar important components for HV/MV switching stations. Production centres around devices for neutral point ground-ing in distribution networks. The division manufactures and sells:

Among the most significant items produced are smoothly adjustable arc suppression coils, which are used for compensating capacitive currents in MV and HV systems in instances of ground faults and made in compliance with the IEC 60076-6 international standard. The division has a wealth of experience in designing and producing arc suppression coils. The expertise garnered by the divi-sion enables staff to develop new models and react flexibly to any requirements such devices must meet.

All products manufactured by the Electri-cal Engineering Division boast high quality anti-corrosive protection and excellent operational reliability. Items are equipped with the latest components purchased from the most prestigious companies. The division’s products are sold to many countries worldwide. The division’s experienced team is capable of assisting with any problems relating to devices sold. Their chief strength is a highly flexible approach to the special requirements of clients that concern the workmanship or equipment of the pro ducts manufactured. Furthermore, a team of service technicians is assigned to commission products supplied.

The Distribution Network Operation Department analyzes the operation of the distribution networks. The depart-ment is staffed by experienced team with a long history of involvement in solving problems in the operation of distribution grids. The Distribution Network Opera-tion Department provides expert ser-vices including:

The Steel Structures Division produces steel structures particularly for the supply of power industry. Main product range is as follows:

The division is also able to provide steel constructions not directly intended for the power industry. Thanks to a wealth of ex-perience gained over the years, the Steel Structures Division is capable of producing and supplying the following products:

In consequence of the long-term coop-eration between EGE, spol. s r.o. and the sales agency AEG TRO Berlin, it became necessary, in the wake of AEG reorganiza-tion, to further EGE‘s commercial inter-ests in the German market by establishing an effective sales agency. Therefore, the year of 1996 witnessed the genesis of EGE-Deutschland, an EGE subsidiary, which entrusted with the care of EGE‘s business partners in Germany and other German-speaking countries of Europe.
