Ed’s theory of magnetic force involves a single fundamental cosmic particle. It turns in a right handed

screw like motion. If two of the particles are traveling towards each other, their gear like surfaces

interact to pull each other in opposite directions. See the picture below.

Combining Ed’s theory with conventional theory, a single line of conventional magnetic force

is actually two equal and opposing forces of many interacting particles. According to Ed, If his

theoretical magnetic particle is traveling opposite the direction of a conventional line of

force, it is termed as a “north magnet particle”. Ed’s particle is termed a “south magnet

particle”, if it is traveling in the same direction of a conventional line of force.

This is a side view of a conventional magnetic field of a permanent magnet or coil.Notice that Ed’s north and south magnetic particles are following the conventional lines of force of

the magnetic field, but each field line contains two opposing streams of Ed’s particles.

Based on what Ed is

saying above, we can geta clue on how the coil

polarities of the Quarry

device interact. Ed tends

to speak metaphorically

when he talks about

Sweet Sixteen and

himself as he does in “A

Book in Every Home.”

S N

I have always been

attracted to Sweet Sixteen. She

is my girl. Our attraction for one another

is a natural outcome of the law that

states opposites attract.

Our love is magnetic.

14

note: Red lines between the Sweet

Sixteen coil magnetic field and the Ed

coil magnetic field represent attraction

of opposite magnetic poles. South

attracts to North and vice versa.

What is this seemingly insignificant object on

the display board in Ed’s tool room?

This object has been rotated 180 degrees for the reader to

better see its symbolic representation of a magnetic circuit.

It is Ed’s preference to represent the majority of his symbols

upside down when it comes to the Quarry device. This will

be understood in another section of this interpretation.

The object on Ed’s display board is arepresentation of the pathway of the collective

magnetic field, channeled by the three coils of

the Quarry device.

The pattern and its relation to thethree coils of Ed’s Quarry device.

Ed coil

The three coils are wired for attractive

polarities existing between each coil. This leads

to the natural alignment of the coils. This

alignment produces the previous measured

angles of Ed’s device.

A Natural Alignment

of the Quarry device coils due to the attractive

polarities of their magnetic fields.

The following experiment

shows that Ed’s Quarry

device coils have a reason

for their specific placement

on the Quarry device.

Begin by taking three

permanent flat bar magnets.

These bars need to be cutdown to the relative size of

the three coils on the Quarry

device. Lay the magnets in

the same relative positions

as shown on the Quarry

device.

Using a slate table will reducefrictional forces for the magnets

to align their respective fields. If

no slate table is available, use a

lubricating substance to reduce

the friction between the

magnets and table.

This picture shows permanent magnets can be used to

determine the natural alignment of attractive polarities

between coils in the Quarry device.

Each magnet represents a coil placement on the Quarry

device. The magnets are to be placed in the

“approximate” positions and relative distances from

each other as on the Quarry device.

The surface in the picture is a Formica countertop

coated with butter spray for reducing frictional forces.

Turn either the Ed coil magnet or the Sweet Sixteen coil

magnet slightly out of its alignment position. Tap the

surface again and you will see them realign to the

relative position on the Quarry device. The overall field

pattern of the three magnets as outlined in red on the

picture to the left matches the Quarry device symbol

shown earlier.

Notice how the Sweet Sixteen coil points to the end of

the Mother coil and the Ed coil points to the middle of

the Mother coil.
