4.3 Taking your eco-friendly practise into the future

Now you have finished this workshop, should your practise stand still? Is that all we can do to promote eco-friendly practise?

Absolutely not!

New methods of sustainable practises are evolving all the time, so be sure to follow our facebook and twitter pages for information of current updates and news. We would love to hear from you regarding your future improvements, especially those which fully involve your pupils.

To take your practise into the next stage for the future, involve the children fully. Ask them how they think they can help to continue to improve their outdoor environment and share their knowledge with others. Ask them what they think are the main issues for the environment of the planet and how we can minimise impacts for a sustainable future. Can they establish their own local campaigns or create their own information sharing events or leaflets to distribute to others to improve awareness and education about the environment? Children are the driving force of the future of our planet, so involve them fully in being the driving force for improving eco-practise further.

And finally, a huge thank you for taking the time and effort to complete this workshop. It is an issue close to my own heart and I am eternally thankful that others feel the same way too.
