Readiness: Engaging & Preparing New Providers
Definitions
Pathway - Steps and actions to engage providers and allow them to successfully deliver services.
Readiness - Steps and supports to engage contractors and subcontractors, prepare them to submit/participate in a strong application and to deliver high-quality services.
Realities
Participation in Early Achievers is a given.
Variations from standards should be as minimal as possible.
Changes to state policies and rules may limit actions we can take and their timing.
Think streamlined and efficient.
Readiness: Engaging & Preparing New Providers
Today’s Aim: Seek advice on readiness pathways (variations and extra supports) and early readiness actions for
Child Care Centers, Family Child Care Homes, K-12 (ESD’s and Schools) and Rural and Remote Providers
Gratitude: Much appreciation to work group volunteers!
Questions for You
Pathways: Are the suggested variations and supports on target? Do you see anything that is missing or is not needed?
Early Actions: Do you have any changes or additions to the suggested early actions?
Enable Readiness and Expansion Action Plan
Aim: Seek advice about sequencing or suggested changes on extended Action Plan
Theory of Change: Action plans are tied the Theory of Change (reference materials)
Questions for You
Do you have any questions or changes to actions? Are there better ways to sequence or streamline
action?
