(gifts for Children 10 and under), The Club will accept cash donations as well as Baked goods(Cookies, Cup Cakes, etc) for the Cake walk. A reminder to all those planning to bring their Children, Grand-Children or Great-Grand Children to the party (gifts for children 10 and under) please call the Lounge (636-2440) with the number of children and their ages so we can plan for the gifts to purchase for the party. Volunteers need! Contact a Trustee for details! Congratulations to Terry Orr on becoming our newest trustee, by accepting an appointment upon the resignation of Brad Armstrong. Thanks to Terry and Brad for their efforts to the club. This editor would like to apologize to Terry for not getting this in last month’s Newsletter.  Thanks to all those that volunteered or came out for the Bras, Blues & BBQ Saturday October 19th. This was the first year for the event at our club and it was a huge success.  Taco Tuesday continues to be a success , we will continue to have it for the foreseeable future. From the President Aerie 2693 has approved some changes to our Bylaws effective immediately!(The Grand Aerie has reviewed and approved them)  Thanks to the ByLaws Committee( Mark Williams, Chairman, Terry Grefrath and Larry Hasenbeck) for their hard work and to Rick Franklin for drafting the changes for us. Aerie meeting times from 8:00PM to 7:00PM. Increased our annual dues from $30.00 per year to $40.00 per year. An increase of $.10 per member for our Secretary. For any and all other changes check the ByLaws posted on the bulletin board in the Club entry way opposite the Bathrooms. (If you would like a copy just let us know next time you are at the club (please, do not remove the copy on the bulletin board ) We will now be turning our attention to the House Rules. We hope to have changes ready to read at the next regular meeting. With a vote on the changes coming at the third consecutive reading. Attend the meetings and let your voice be heard! In the interest of growing our membership and with the holid ays approaching; conside r giving/gifting a first years membership to a family member, friend or employee(s) and help us in our efforts to grow the club! If you have enjoyed being a member share the experience with someone else. Secretary’s Desk DELINQUENT DUES: PLEASE check the date on your card. If you don’t have a Red or Blue Key card you are past due.  There will be one more mailing to past due members before being dropped. Why not renew now and take advantage of the improvements to your Aerie. Since becoming your secretary I have reviewed the monthly expense and operating costs. I was able to make some changes that resulted in a savings of over $500.00 a month that continues today. It takes a lot of care and money to keep our Aerie up and running. I appreciate all the volunteers tha t help with our fund raisers, without the fund raisers, it would be diffcult to operate our club. Please feel free to call with any questions concerning your dues. Also, Congratulations to Dorothy Poe for wine 40” TV and Dick Jones for winning the Budweiser cooler the afternoon of the BBQ!
