On this occasion the Bucaan Community House paid tribute to their former coordinator, Doreen McDonald. Community members and colleagues came together to share their stories on how Doreen touched their lives. In memory of Doreen, a bench was dedicated and tree was planted honouring Doreen‟s life, work and friendship with the community. Youth group has resumed back from the holidays with a brand new pool table. Big thanks to Adriana Taylor our Independent Member for Elwick and the Glenorchy Community Fund Advisory Committee for donating funding to our community house Youth Group. Community Garden Goes to MoMA
March Issue

Our stall was „packed to the rafters‟ with flowers and
information about the garden and community house.
Many people stopped by just to say, “wow” and how lovely
the stall looked. We had many great conversations about
our garden, our programs and what we do. Many thanks to
MoMA for providing us with the stall. This was an
amazing day!
