During courtship, the male can actually stimulate the female into urinating so he can perform the fertility taste test. If it is acceptable, the male attempts to mount her, though the female may not be completely receptive and try to evade the advances.

The females tend to vie for the attention of older, stronger males while they prefer younger females. If a female is being courted by a male who does not suit her standards, she will string him along while looking for a better specimen to mate with, or eventually give up and mate with the male she has.

There are stem cells in the both placenta and blood contained in the placenta. Also the primary source of stem cells is from blastocysts. These are fertilized human eggs that were not implanted into a woman.
