Location Located in the Cartif Foundation, which is in Boecillo Technology Park. The Boecillo Technology Park is in the municipality of Boecillo

(Valladolid), connected by highway with Madrid (179km). Cartif Foundation owns 3 buildings inside the Technology Park. The mockup is located inside Building 2, in the second floor.

To have not only a small SandS replica but a functional site that resembles a real kitchen.

Visibility: To contribute to project dissemination. ◦ Glass walls.◦ Additional room: can be used as a meeting point. ◦ Cameras.

Accesibility: complies with the recommended standards to guarantee that the mockup is accessible to people with disabilities.

Considerations:◦ Not having cabinets under the counter.◦ Door openings > 85 cm width.◦ In front of each door and the sink a circle of 120 cm of free space -

> wheelchair can perform a complete turn around.◦ Minimum free walking space between two furniture items > 70cm.◦ Plugs easily tongued.◦ Switches

should be pressure switches. have a large surface for their use. located at 80 to 110 cm height. Allow a frontal or a lateral approach with a wheelchair.

◦ The floor should be anti-slip both in dry and wet conditions.◦ Rounded corners and edges of the countertop and furniture. ◦ Matte finish of surfaces of floors, walls, furniture, etc.
