DoubleDutch is the leading provider in the event tech space. The DoubleDutch platform helps marketing and event professionals make data driven decisions by building mobile apps designed to engage attendees and collect data for organizers to maximize and demonstrate return on investment. They are all about helping event marketers deliver an all-star event experience to every event stakeholder, and looked to Insightpool to further their presence in the event tech space by sharing content and resources for event professionals.
ChallengeDoubleDutch utilizes social media in a number of innovative ways, and felt that partnering with Insightpool would add a whole new layer of opportunity for proactive outreach and engagement with their target market.
Challenges addressed by Insightpool:
• Identify a hyper-connected audience of marketers and event professionals to build DoubleDutch’s audience.• Spark relevant conversations with key influencers to drive word of mouth and increase share of voice on social.
StrategyDoubleDutch utilized Insightpool’s marketing platform to identify influential and hyper-connected, net new, and relevant marketers and event profs. Once identified, the strategy was to connect with them and proactively drive engagement, with the goal of driving both site traffic and conversation around specific events. was the perfect fit for the Atlanta Hawks social
marketing needs. Enabling the Hawks to identify target audiences, develop social content, predict the audience that will engage or take action and nurture these new relationships on social so the unknown community turns into followers, fans and attendees of their games. Identify Hyper-Connected AudiencesDoubleDutch used a variety of search tactics within Insightpool’s marketing platform to identify a hyper-relevant net-new audience. Using hashtags, job descriptions, location, and level of influence, they were able to sift through the noise on social and find individuals within their target audience that were not only interested in their message and product offering, but also well connected and influential in the space.

Drive Word of Mouth and Increase Share of Voice on Social
Using proactive, one-to-one outreach through Insightpool’s Marketing platform, DoubleDutch sought to spark conversation around two international events, one new office opening, and a specific Twitter chat. Through those four specific campaigns, DoubleDutch drove a variety
of types of social engagement, resulting in over 17k expanded impressions around those four topics. As a byproduct, they also saw a significant amount of site traffic as a result of the links included in these four campaigns, resulting in over 6,500 clicks.
These high quality conversations with influencers also resulted in a 3x increase in share of voice in just over one month!
