Frequently Asked Questions about the James Project Weekends
FAQ’sWho can be a part of the James Project? Youth groups, student ministries, small groups, teens, adults, families, pastors, layleaders and more. If you have any questions please contact us for more details.
What areas will we be serving in? James Project weekend groups serve on CREW surrounding meal times (serving in the dining room, running dish room, scrubbing pots and cleaning bathrooms).
Will I have time with my students/family for other activities throughout the weekend?Yes! There will be timethroughout each day for things like - discipleship, solo time, prayer, planning, debriefing, hanging out, playing, seasonal activites, etc. Our desire is to partner with you and your objectives as a group. The James Project is a strategic opportunity for you to impact your group on an intimate level.
Are the dates flexible?No, because the dates listed correspond with our guest group dates.However, you may be able to arrive early and/or stay later.
What other things can we do to impact the camp?You can choose to work on a small project (2-3 hours) during the weekend.
What is the cost?The cost is $35 per person. Much like a work group or a short term mission trip, this covers your meals, lodging, etc.
How can we get more involved and make a bigger impact?Your group/family can raise support to impact Arrowhead (i.e. Camper Scholarships, new equipment, general camp costs, or a larger project at camp. Contact us for more details. Check out Friends and Fanatics (www.friendsandfanatics.org)
Can our group serve for more than one week(end)?Yes, the same group or different students from the same group may sign up for multiple week(ends) of the James Project.
