Smart pill bottles can keep patients on track.

Not every pill bottle can relay patient information via satellite, or flash to let a patient know he or she missed a dose. GlowCaps™ can. When a dose is one hour late, the bottle’s cap alerts the patient by flashing red. At two hours late, the cap plays ringtones. At three hours, the patient receives a phone call reminding them to take their medication. When a dose is missed entirely, alerts can go to Diplomat, the provider and the patient to help the patient resume therapy.

Proactive refills put patients first.

We never auto-ship refills. Before a prescription is due to run out, a patient care coordinator calls the patient to:

• Check for excess medication

• Process refill

• Schedule convenient delivery

• Update health history

• Conduct verbal adherence assessment

If the patient doesn’t have refills remaining, we contact the prescribing physician proactively—before renewal is needed—to verify therapy and obtain a new prescription on the patient’s behalf so there’s no interruption in therapy.

Our shipping resolutions team has partnered with a logistics carrier to intercept packages as necessary, track shipments and schedule redeliveries when needed.
