OUR MISSIONHidroinženiring l.t.d. has a long tradition in the fields of general

hydrotechnics, treatment of urban and industrial wastewater, final

disposal of specific types of hazardous waste and treatment of old

environmental burdens.

Since 1971 already, it is in the business of solving complex

problems in the field of environmental protection for the State,

local communities, industries and other production and services

firms.

Its activities span from design over execution of preparatory

works, production of technical and technological solutions,

preparation of tender documentation to being in charge of

construction and on site assembly of plant and equipment.

CHALLENGES WE HAVE FACEDIN THE LAST 10 YEARS

In the last 10-15 years

Hidroinženiring became leading

Slovenian Company in the

design and engineering of

environmental projects.

Although the times were not

favorable especially in the years

2009-2013 due to economic

crisis in Slovenia, we managed

to overcome difficulties and are

now on the path to prosperity.

technological development programs in the

field of integral environmental protection

and elaboration of preliminary technical and

economical schemes regarding complex

environmental issues of waste water, waste

and use of renewable energy sources;

preparation of tender documents for development and capital investment

projects; elaboration of integral environmental impact assessment for

construction new production- or infra-structural plants as well as comparative

LESSONS LEARNED...

Slovenia is in the EU since 2004, and was

able to participate in the 2007-2013 Financial

perspective, but did not fully exploit funding

from EU mostly because municipalities were

not prepared for environmental projects. At

the end of the perspective most were aware

and projects became feasible.

(...and mistakes Kosovo should not repeat)

Until the end of 2015 projects must be finished and time from 2013-2015 is difficult because of high

concentration of projects, also for the municipalities, as well as for the ministry which is responsible

for EU funds and also for the contractors, who are working under tight schedules.

• in Montenegro it is well known for supervision

and design services

• in Macedonia it has references from the waste

sector (waste strategy and water strategy for

the Republic of Macedonia) as well as design

and engineering of WWTPs

supervision team

• in Croatia has well established team for

feasibility studies and applications for EU

funding and also engineering of WWTPs

• In Albania we are involved in consulting in

wastewater projects and flooding

In the past few years there is also a strong

presence in the republic of Belarus, mainly

in the waste sector and in the industrial

WWTP solutions.
