PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS• Carefully unwrap your Glass Terrarium and place on a solid surface. • Place your germination disk in a separate container. Add 2 cups of luke warm

water. The germination disk will absorb the water and expand into your growing medium.

• After the disk has absorbed the water carefully use a plastic spoon (not provided) to fill the bottom of your Double Bubble with the germination mixture. Gently use the plastic spoon to push down the growing medium so it is about 1 ½ inches thick and sits firmly on the base of the glass terrarium. Make sure it does not extend out of the opening. The growing medium should be well moistened but make sure there are no pockets of standing water.

• Carefully pour seeds from the pack onto a creased paper that is laid flat on a flat surface, sprinkle half the seeds onto your growing medium as desired. Gently push them into the medium with the plastic spoon. This kit comes with enough seeds for two plantings. Be sure to save half the seeds from each pack if you want another planting and store your saved seeds in a cool, dry area without too much humidity.

*Tip – If you CAREFULLY hold the terrarium at an upwards angle while planting your seeds it is easier to guide them into the correct positions.

• Put the entire terrarium inside of a sealed plastic bag or cover the small opening with saran wrap.

• The cactus seeds will sprout in about one to two weeks. Aloe will take about two to four week. Remove from bag or discard saran wrap from the opening of the terrarium. Be sure to water weekly or as needed to keep soil from drying out after sprouting.

Cactus plants grow as trees, shrubs and even vines. They have no leaves buy they possess small spine which are like modified leaves. These spines protect the cacti from being eaten by animals. Enjoy this variety of cacti and all their unique and interesting properties!

Growing InformationCacti require bright light and/or direct sunlight to thrive. Can not handle outside direct sunlight until they are a few years old. Let soil dry thoroughly between waterings. Only need to be watered once a month, more in Spring and Summer.

Aloe is also different from most house plants in that it releases oxygen at night and removes carbon dioxide from the air.
