poppy will be placed on every ex-servicemen and women’s graves in the Griffith Cemetery. Nine hundred and Eighty seven graves in total. After the ANZAC Day service in the park, the community and students in particular are invited to visit the Griffith Cemetery and place the provided flowers on the graves marked with little white crosses. Donations of flowers will be also gratefully accepted. This was a beautiful thing to see over the past two years. Not one of the marked graves went without a flower placed there by the small enthusiastic crowd. Sixty-seven of these graves did not have a plaque (bare dirt only). This year we have managed to mark all sixty seven graves with a plaque. I look forward to seeing you all at the cemetery on ANZAC day.
