Description & UsageD_DevicesdesignandmakepressurizedsteamSmallSteamSterilizerespeciallytomeettheneedsforsterili-zationofinstrumentsanddevicesinclinics,departmentsinahospitalandlaboratories.Operatorsincludedoctorsorhis/herassistanceunderdoctorssupervisions.TheSmallSteamSterilizeriscom-puterized,userfriendlyandeasytooperate.Itsrealtimedisplayshowsalldataduringthesterilizationcycle.Thesoftwareprogramprovidesautodiagnose,protectionagainstoverheatingoroverpressurizing,andthusensuresreliabilityofthesterilizationresults.Build-incondenserwatercollectingsystempreventsdischargeofwastesteamandkeepsthemachinecleanandsafe.

Preparation before using

Weinstalledthedrainingfilterbeforethedeviceleavingfactory.Cleanthedrainingfilteroncepermonth.Youcanseetheinstructionsofhowtocleanitaccordingtopage15.

Beforeusingthedevice,youshouldmakeelectricalconnectionsbyusingthepowercordthatcomeswiththeunit.Insertthehollowedendofthepowercordintotheinletofthemachineandplugtheotherendonapoweroutlet.Caution:Thepowersupplycanafford1800VAload.Ok,youcanturnontheTheSmallSteamSterilizernow.

6. «TEST» key: Itusedforselectthetestingcycle.Pressonetime,B&Dlightgoeson,meanswillrunB&Dcycle,pressagain,LEAKlightgoesone,meanswillrunLEAKcycle.Pressthiskeyfor3s,twolightsgoesonatmeantime,meanstoruncleaningcycle,forcleaningthesteamgenerator.

7. «DRY» key: ThiskeyselectstheFaststerilizationcycle.Withunwrappedinstruments,youmayusethefastcyclebypressingtheDRYkeyonce,theindicationlightgoesonanditindicatesthatmachineisinfastcyclemode.UsingtheSmallSteamSterilizermadebyus,youmaystillusethisselectiontoshortenthecycletime.

8. «STEP» key: Thisisapostcycleselectionkey.Whenasterilizecyclecompletes,youmaypressthiskeytokeeponworkingorstopworkingTheindicationlightgoeson,anditmeansthatwhenthecycleiscomplete,theheatingelementwillstopbeforethechamberdoorisopened.Whentheindicationlightisoff,itmeansthatthechamberwillbekeptwarmaftercompletingacycleandheatinguptimeisshorterduringnextcycle.Iftheuserdoesnotstartanyoperationaftercompletingthecycle,thesystemwillenterintolastcycleautomaticallyanhourlater.

9. «START/STOP» key: Whenyouchoosetherightprogram,pushthisbuttonthenitstartsacycle.Kee-pingpressingthekey3secondsbeforedesiccationphase,thecycleofsterilizationwillbequitted.Thenitwillenterinto3minutesdryness.Inthisprogramifyoupressthethekeyagain,theprogramofdrynesswillbeoveratanymoment.Ifyoupressthekeyatendofdryness,thecyclewillbequitteddirectly.

10. «WATER» indication light: Whenthewatervolumeislow,thelightisglinting.

11. «READY» indication light: Whenthelightgoeson,themachinesgetsreadyforsterilization,andtheoperatorcanpress"start"keytostartacycle.

12. «RUNNING» indication light: Workinglight.Itmeanssterilizeprogramisworking.

Caution:Incaseoffaults,pleasecontactyourdistributororthemanufactureimmediately.

6. OperationPleaseconnectthepowercordbeforeyoustarttheoperation.Pressthemainpowerswitchatrightlowerco-merofthefrontpanel.Toepowerswitchlighttumsonindicatingthatelectricpowerisconnected.Thescreennodisplay,automaticallyexamine.Ifitisok,thescreenwillshowLD.

6.1. Fill waterIfthewaterlevelislowerthanthelowestwaterlevel.Whenthepowerswitchison,selectthesterilizepro-gram,the"water"indicationlightmayglintingwhilealarmBeeps.Atthistime,youneedtorefillthereservoir.Pleaseopenthewatertankandpourwaterintoitbycontainer.Pleasepayattentiontothewaterlevelduringfillingwater,youshouldstopfillingwhenthesurfaceisclosetotheredwaterlevelmark.

6.2. Start a cycleWhenwaterindicationlightisoff,themachinecanbestarted.

a. Press"SELECT"tochooseoneoftheprogram-mes.Thekeytogglesbetweenthecyclesat121ºC,134ºCandB+mode.Oneoftheindica-tionlightstumsontoshowtheprogrammeyouselected(Fig6-2).

b. Youmayneedtoselectinstrumentspackagemode.Accordingtotheinstrumentyouputintothechamberwhetheritisbarenessorsopup,press"package"toselectpackagemode.

c. Youmayselect"DRY"keywhetherstartsthefaststerilizationcycle.Press"DRY"key,itwillreducethesterilizationtime.Ifyoupressthebutoon"DRY"onthepanel,therearethreeselections,lmin(withlminLEDon),5min(with5minLEDon),and10min(withtwoLEDsoff).

Whenacyclecompletes,thedisplay"Ed"theindicationlight"RUNNING"Tumsoffandtheindicationlight"READY"tumsonwithsounds.Atthistimeyoumaythenopenthechamberdoorandunloadtheinstrumentswhicharesterilized.(Fig6-6)Atmeantime,temperatureindicate"prt",itmeansthatitisperformingprint,whe-theryouhaveinstallprinter,theprocesscannotbeomitted.Butyouneedn'tcareaboutit.Itwillnoteffecttheprocessofopeningthedoorandunloadingtheinstruments.Theindicationwilldisappearwhenprintingisover.

Attention:Toensuresmallsteamsterilizer'sonthesafeside,Whenwaterlevellowalannsounds,Pleasebeadvisedaddsornewaterfirst.Whenyouaddthewater,pleasedon'tforgettoletcondenserwaterout.

Caution:Alwaysusethetrayholdertoloadorunloadthetraywithinstrumentsinit,inordertoavoidburninginjuries.

Caution:Instrumentsthatarereadytosterilizeshouldbeplacedinthetraytotouchingoneanotherallowedspaceforsteamtopassthrough.ltissuggestthatthetrayholderbeusedtoputthetraywithinstrumentsinsidethechambertoavoidbuminginjuries.

Atención:Paragarantizarlaseguridaddelesterilizadordevaporpequeño,añadaaguaantesdeusarlocuandosuenelaalarmadenivelbajodeagua.Noolvidedejarsalirelaguadelcondensadorcuandovayaaañadiragua.
