Steps Of Creating A Logo

The first step is to create a background to add things onto. We made this transparent so that when we had finished creating the background there was no white bits in the background.

The second step was to choose what we wanted as our background, we decided to make it messy so I thought of the idea just to colour the background in. I picked a paint brush that makes the paint look water based and very streaky to make a eerie effect.

This is the background image we created. It looks untidy and very messy because of the horror theme we have. We didn’t think making just a plain background would be very interesting so adding a texture to the background would make it a little bit more interesting and entertaining.

After creating the background we decided we were going to create the logo. We didn’t want a image so we decided to have text. We downloaded a font from www.dafont.com and transferred it into photo shop. We called it ‘Jigsaw productions’. The font looks like blood and handprints which fit into our theme.

This is our finished logo with the text appearing on the background. This will go in front of the window on final cut to become the opening of our sequence.
